Hope On The Horizon

~ Hope on the horizon ~

Inhale through your nose,

Exhale through parted lips.

Our sun's rays warm my skin,

As I meditate from within.

Inhale the warm crisp morning,

Exhale the cold winter nights.

Morning dew settles on green grass,

As the breeze dances passed.

Inhale gratitude,

Exhale limitations.

The faint sound of a newly born lamb,

Entwined with children's laughter from their prams.

Our gardens, windowsills and balconies come to life,

As the yellow, orange, and pink flowers begin to bloom.

Fields of green crops, a sea of yellow buds.

We run down the path, eager to get home to our bubble bath.

Peering over tall fences,

We use all our senses.

Spring has sprung,

Life has begun.

A spring like no other.

Silent streets, virtually connected,

Remember to breath when we feel dejected.

We sit in our homes yearning for humanity,

As mother nature restores her sanity.

Inhale the new beginnings,

Exhale the past.

If you look a little closer,

You'll see hope is here at last.
